Overview

Innovaheath Technologies Corp. (“ITC”), dba Food&I, takes great care in safeguarding your personal health information. This policy describes the terms for certain ITC services that allow you to provide, store and access your personal health information. In the event of any conflict between this ITC Health Information Policy and the ITC Privacy Policy related to personal health information, the ITC Health Information Policy shall apply.

Providing, storing and accessing your personal health information

  1. Certain ITC services allow you to provide, store and access personal health information. Such services include various privacy preferences and options, including the ability to delete information.
  2. ITC will not sell or share your personally identifiable personal health information without your explicit consent, except to comply with laws or government regulations or as part of a corporate reorganization process including, but not limited to, mergers, acquisitions, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.

How ITC uses your personal health information

  1. ITC uses your personal health information to provide certain services to you.
  2. ITC periodically may use for itself, and provide to third parties, statistics and associations from your personal health information as part of an aggregated data set. These aggregated data sets do not contain any personally identifiable information.
  3. Certain features of the ITC services can be used alone or in conjunction with other services, and such features may share personal health information to provide a better user experience and to improve the quality of our services. For example, ITC services can help you find relevant information, including from advertisers and third parties. Personal health information shared for such purposes is not provided to third parties in a personally identifiable manner.

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act

Certain services provided by ITC and/or third-parties may be covered by federal and state health privacy laws (such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or “HIPAA”), and those laws will govern how ITC and such service providers may use and share your information. Such laws require that you authorize ITC and/or these providers to provide services to you. By using services from ITC and such service providers, you give ITC and the service providers, as applicable, permission to provide services requested by you. The authorization you are giving us does not include certain especially sensitive types of health information (such as mental health or substance abuse records) that are protected by federal and state laws and that require special authorization.
