How does Tyramine cause Migraines ?

Tyramine releases neurotransmitters epinephrine, norepinephrine and dopamine. Epinephrine and norepinephrine are vasoactive substances, causing blood vessels to constrict and dilate. The resulting changes in blood pressure frequently cause migraine headaches in sensitive individuals.
